Cobb Theatres second location at the Mall opened on May 30, 2008 as the Cobb Dolphin 19 Cinemas. The CineBistro and the Dolphin 19 are on the second level, separated by the Strike Miami bowling center.
This was Cobb’s first CineBistro and credit for the design goes to Zyscovich Architects and CTSM Architects. In 2009 Zyscovich Architects received an award from the International Interior Design Association for the CineBistro Project.
The dining room seats 60 with an additional 24 on its private patio. The theater is equipped with ultra-luxurious high-back leather rocking chairs and cocktail tables. The theater has valet parking and seating can be reserved online. At this location no one under 21 will be admitted after 6pm without proper ID.
It was taken over by CMX Cinemas in October 2017. It has now expanded to 19 screens including an IMAX theatre.

Yes, the 19-plex is still listed but the CineBistro is not. Does anyone know if it ever opened at all in 2021 after the original Covid closing? I have been tracking Miami theatres since 1968, so matters to me. I hope we didn’t ruin your Christmas, Moose.
Please update, the theatre opened as 19 screens with 5 cinebistro screens, yes Cinebistro not offered anymore. Grand opening ads in the photos section.

Please correct the description, the theatre open on May 30, 2008 as the Cobb Dolphin 19 Cinemas, the showclock I posted is in the photos section from June 5, 2008 Miami Herald. The complex was alway 19 screens with 5 theatres dedicated to CineBistro which was part of the theatre.
