After three days of movies for local charities, Regal Gulf Coast Stadium opened on May 5, 2006 in Gulf Coast Town Center.
RLS Architects designed the theater with 3,586 seats. Before Regal’s version of an IMAX screen (many say it isn’t a true IMAX) was retrofitted in 2008, the largest auditorium featured 460 seats and a 58-foot screen.

Grand opening ad in photo section.
Does anyone remember the name of the 6 screen Theatre that Eastern Federal Theatres opened in Ft. Myers in the early 1980’s? Is so, what was the name of it and address? Whatever happened to it?
