I believe this theatres design was available to theatre operators across the country as a ready made design to be rubber stamped anywhere. The Willow Knolls 14 theatre in north Peoria IL shares the same initial design / layout but like Kendall, it has added additional screens.

This is a 11 screen and now just called “Kendall 11”
Classic Cinemas announced they are now in control of the Kendall 11 as of July 10th, 2020. They will begin operating the theatre once new movies become available.
The web site of architects Paradigm Design lists Goodrich’s Kendall 11 GDX as one of the firm’s projects. I don’t know if the firm designed the original 8-screen project built in 1998 or not.
