Located in Woodlesford, West Yorkshire, 5 miles southeast of Leeds. It is listed under Leeds in the 1931 & 1944 Kinematograph Year Books as the Woodlesford Picture House. It was equipped with a Western Electrict(WE) sound system. By 1944 it had been taken over by the Leeds based Star Cinemas chain and from 1950 is listed as being in Woodlesford. It is not known exactly when it closed but it was still listed in the 1962 KYB. It then became bingo, followed by snooker and is now a children’s play centre.

I remember seeing CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG there when I was a little kid,no later than 1970
