The Family Theatre opened in 1931, and and was renamed Crest Theatre in 1960. It served as a movie house until the late-1960’s. It could seat around 600. The former theatre now houses an antique shop.

My recollection is that this theatre closed before the 1970s. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I don’t recall it being open even in the late 1960s.
This was renamed Crest on December 3rd, 1960. Grand opening ad posted in photo section.
