Built in 1925 as a Jubilee Hall by the Co-op Society, it became a cinema in April 1927, run by the Society. It had a proscenium width of 20ft 8in and was later to have a Western Electric(WE) sound system. It closed on 25th November 1955. In 2006 the ground floor was in use as a Chinese restaurant.
