Located in the EMBA Building, the New Earl Theatre was opened November 22, 1949 with Robert Young in “Adventures in Baltimore”. It was operated by the Crescent Amusement Co. out of Nashville, TN. The Earl Theatre was still open in 1957.

Grand opening ad in the photo section. Another Earl theatre opened on April 27th, 1937 and closed in 1949.
