The Upton Drive-In was located on the SE part of town along US 16. Owned and operated by Goodwell, the drive-in was open by 1959 and lasted at least until 1985. Subsequently, the drive-in was closed.
Today, another business uses the property for storage, but the screen and projection booth/concession stand is still up.

The address for this theater is 1500 2nd St, Upton, WY 82730. This points directly to the entrance road.

Boxoffice, July 20, 1970: “Jerry Bullard has opened his new 120-car drive-in at Sundance, Wyo. The theatre will be on a two-change-a-week basis, with bookings being on a circuit with Bullard’s Drive-In located in nearby Upton, Wyo.”
A closer address is 1380 2nd St, Upton, WY.
Google Maps has updated their addresses and this puts it right next to the projection booth which appears to be intact.
As of August 2025 (Google Street View), the screen is still up. It’s not in good shape, but still up.
