Located in Marlinton, to the north of Buckeye. The Buckeye Drive-In was owned and operated by W.W. Grahman. It opened in mid-1952 and at some point before the turn of the 21st century was closed.
The drive-in is located on the west side of US Highway 219 just north of the Buckeye Post Office. A self-storage site sits on one part of the property.
Today, the projection booth/concession stand is gone, but the ramps are still visible and the screen is still intact and standing behind the self-storage building.

The ticket booth also appears to be standing as well.
Was open as early as mid-1952, there was a funny job ad for a projectionist in the Raleigh Register looking for someone “sober and reliable”.
Boxoffice, July 27, 1970: “William Gearing of the Silver Spring-based B&B circuit has taken over the booking of … the Buckeye Drive-In, Buckeye, W. Va., and the Blue Star Drive-In, Petersburg, Va. These theatres were booked by the late Joe Walsh, Baltimore booker.”
