This was a Famous Players theatre located at Wilson Avenue and Jane Street. It opened on December 17, 1976 with 4-screens. I have an advertisement for “It’s Alive 2” dated December 10, 1978. It was closed on December 8, 2001 and the theatre was marked ‘Inactive’ in the Big Screen Guide.

The North York Sheridan Mall 4 Cinemas opened its doors by Famous Players on December 17, 1976 with four screens. It was closed on July 18, 1996.
The cinema actually closed on December 8, 2001, with its final films being “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” “Black Knight,” “Monsters, Inc.,” and “Spy Game.” The cinema’s initial phone number ended on July 18, 1996, but that’s because Famous Players consolidated all the phone numbers into one.
