The Pavilion Theatre opened on 9th February 1914. The Pavilion Theatre closed in 1930, and was turned into Perth’s first 18 hole miniature golf course. This was bought by Walsh’s Menswear in 1932 who operated in the building until they moved in the Cox Brothers Economic Store(1930’s, or 1940’s?). The building remains today and is a now a chemist.

The Pavilion Theatre building is now called Sheffield house with a chemist on the ground floor beside the entrance to JB HI FI downstairs(formally Mayfair(later Capri) Theatrette, and entrance(on the left hand side of the building) to a family relationship centre and property consultancy and a medical centre(psychologist?) on the upper 3 floors. The building has been heritage listed(date unknown?).
The chemist is also a camera shop(Camera house).
