The Mayfair Theatrette opened on 11th March 1947. The Mayfair Theatrette closed for renovations on 25th May 1968 with “Daleks Invasion Earth 2150AD”.
It reopened as the 380-seat Capri Theatrette on 10th June 1968 with Rod Steiger in “No Way to Treat a Lady”. Around 1965 a second screen was created in the former coffee lounge. The Capri Theatrette closed in September 1987. The site became occupied by JB HI-FI(first location in Perth(and Western Australia) which closed on 7th May 2019.

The Capri Theatee was also a coffee shop.
This theatrette was underneath the Pavilion Theatre building. The building has been heritage listed(date unknown?).
I think the entrance might have where the camera store(Camera House)–(front part) is in the chemist shop?

The Capri Theatrette was twinned(in 1985 or 1986?), by converting the former coffee lounge.
The JB HI-FI store closed on 7/5/2019 and moved to a new location in Murray Street(Forrest Chase) above the Woolworths suoermarket that was once the site of the Grand Theatre(opening on 8/5/2019).
Also closed(as the Mayfair Theatrette) on 10th June 1968 with “The Trap”.
