The Britannia Theatre opened on 1st April 1915. The Britannia Theatre closed on 18th May 1918. The site was converted into shops. The Britannia Theatre could possibly have been where the Hoyts Cinema 1(and City Arcade, now City/Carillion Arcade) is now?
