Greater Union 8 opened in September 1994 in the Morley Galleria Shopping Centre. Two new Senstadiums opened in March 2000. The cinema is still operating(as Greater Union Morley).

The cinema is up the car park ramp to the right inside the Morley Galleria Shopping Centre. The Cinema is now called Event Cinemas(as well as greater union).
At one point there seems to have been some connection with Greater Union and Village Roadshow, hence this is on the Warner Cinemas 100 list which gives the opening date as 28 September 1994 with 8 screens and 2415 seats. According to the Event Cinemas website it still has 8 screens.
