Located at the corner of Olga Road and Albany Highway. Early films screenings took place in the Roads Board Hall(location in Maddington unknown). Maddington Centenary Hall was opened on 18th January 1930. Screenings began in March 1930. In its later years its cinema use was via a touring cinema company. Screenings ceased in about 1961. The Centenary Hall was demolished in 1984. The site is now Mcdonalds. I think there is a plaque about the Centenary Hall on a(rock?) on the corner of the block.

Centenary Hall was demolished in 1984, for a road widening project that never happened.
Demolished in 1985. I think the plinth that the 3 plaques are on, might have been made material from the demolished Centenary Hall?
