Located in Cockermouth, Cumbria. The Kirkgate Centre was opened in 1995, a conversion of a former school. It screened its first film on National Cinema Day in June 1996 when Peter Sellers in “The Smallest Show on Earth” was screened at a matinee and evening performance.
The Kirkgate Centre also hosts live music performances, dance and theatre.
