The Medina Theatre opened on 30th August 1955 with “The Long, Long Trailer” and “Dangerous Mission”. The Medina Theatre closed in(1963/1964?). The theatre building was used in 1970 by the Police Boys Club. The theatre was demolished(date unknown?). The site is now a tavern.

The Tavern, with a bottlemart store on the front(on the old Medina Theatre site) is east of the intersection of Harley way, Medina, next to Medina Hall and Kwinana War Memorial.
Before the site became a tavern, there was a Supermarket' on that site(4 Square).
