Built in 1908 and opened as the Crystal Palace. It was last known as the Cristal Theatre which closed around 1987.
Since March 21, 2000 it has operated as Club Soda, presenting live music acts/bands.

Is Club Soda named after the drink(or drink brand?).
It would be interesting to know how and why it got the Club Soda name..
Circa 1960 photo as the Crystal, photo credit the Passion Fifties Facebook page. Also the current Google Street View shows the Club Soda name to have been removed from the blade sign.
It could be named after the Club Soda nightclub in Vancouver, especially if it has the same owners as the Vancouver club.
