The Chronophone was opened in 1909. By 1914 it had been renamed Empire Theatre. There was another name change to Ray’s Photoplays, then by 1926 it was listed as the Rialto Theatre. It was no longer listed in 1936, but reopened and continued to operate until 1955. A Macy’s store now stands on the site.
