Boxoffice, Aug. 27, 1955: “The Dania Drive-In has been sold by George Hertner of Fort Lauderdale and George Koelliker, Dania, doing business as the Herkel Corp., to the Ochs Management Corp. of Cleveland, Ohio … The chain owns the Auto Park and Fortieth Street drive-ins in Tampa, and the Siesta in St. Petersburg.”

Opened with a cartoon(not named), “The mating of Millie” and “Two blondes, and a red head”.

This opened on January 7th, 1949. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

Found It! The address is 427 E. Dania Beach Boulevard, Dania, FL. It managed to make it into the 1960s, but was demolished by 1969.

Today, most of the property is now the parking lot for The Casino at Dania Beach. There is no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/hqsn9kq
