Regal Cinema

Located in Armadale, West Lothian. The Regal Cinema was opened in 1938. Designed for pictures and variety, it had a 30ft wide proscenium, a 26ft deep stage and three dressing rooms. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system.

The Regal Cinema was still open in 1966 but had closed by 1977. The building became derelict and the empty building was badly damaged by a fire sometime after June 1985. The remains have been demolished.
