The Augusta Telecentre opened in 1996 at 65 Allnut Terrace, and then moved across the road to 66 Allnut Terrace(date of moving unknown?). Movies shown on the third Tuesday of each month(date of first movie screening unknown?). Non HACC members welcome for a gold coin donation, HACC members(free?). Still showing movies.

There is also the Augusta Community Cinema in the same building screening a movie once a month(on the third Tuesday) at 7.30pm for a gold coin donation, money donated to local community groups. The website is augusta.crc.net.au/newsandevents .
