Screenings were being offered at the Mariana Hall over the summer of 1959/1960, and possibly longer than this. Plans for a gardens adjacent to the hall were approved, but there is no record that this was ever opened. Mariana is now part of Queens Park(Welshpool Road side). There is still a Mariana Park.

The building was a RAAF hall bought over from Guildford, Western Australia.
