The Starline Drive-In was opened on 21st February 1963. It was closed in 1992 following damage from a storm. The screen has been demolished but the concession/projection building still stands. The site became a garden centre.

Closed in 1992 after storm damage.
Address is 940 Saltwater Road, St Helens, Queensland,4650. The site is now a garden centre and nursery(name unknown?). The screen and some of the speaker posts are still there. There is some photos on the website www.waymarking.com .
The drive-in at the 940 Saltwater Road location clearly has the screen torn down. You can see the screen foundation, but the screen itself appears to be long gone.
The projection booth/concession stand does appear to be intact.
The screen was either torn down or fell down in late 2012/early 2013, its there in August 2012 but looks like its face down on the ground in April 2013. The ramps and Concession building are still there, a few trees have grown around the concession building. The site hasn’t been demolished as described above.
