Gaiety Gardens was constructed on the north side of Forrest Street between Prinsep Street and Harvey Street. Opened as West’s Picture Gardens in 1908. Closed in 1911. It was reopened as the Tivoli Rink in 1911 and operated until 1935.

The Gaiety Gardens only operated for two summer seasons in(1936 and 1937?). Local children could watch the movies from the railway footbridge. Unknown if the gardens site survives, or if there is anything there now?

Opened as Wests Picture Gardens(1908 - circa 1911), then called Tivoli Rink(circa 1911 - 1935?).
