San Pablo Showcase Theatre (1976), was located at El Portal Shopping Center, 2500 Road 20, San Pablo Ca. The shopping center built in 1959 (over the war time housings at El Portal Park) first stores opened were J.J.Newberrys, Safeway and Longs Drug Store. Later came GallenKamp’s Shoes, A&L Records, Marlenes and Mervyn’s.
