The Elektra Theater was a small theater, one of the first built for movies in the City of Baltimore. It opened on August 20, 1910. The Electra Theater had a highly decorated facade which featured a figure of Pan playing his pipes. In January 1917 it was renamed New Elektra Theater. It was taken over by Frank Durkee in February 1917 and was closed for renovations in 1922, reopening in September of that year. It was closed in 1924.
The building was demolished in late-1972.
