Décembre 1991 ouvre avec 5 écrans par * Le Cinémas Châteauguay de Sam Gabbamonte. Il est devenu tellement populaire qu'il n'y avait rien entre et le centre-ville de Montréal. La pharmacie voisine a dû embaucher une sécurité supplémentaire pour contrôler le stationnement.
1993 élargi à 6 écrans
1997 Renommé au Carnaval comme il est vendu à Shiraz Tajdin, qui possède les cinémas Carnival à Red Deer AB. Il met à jour les systèmes sonores et les écrans et ajoute un cybercafé.
2010 vendu à de nouveaux propriétaires.
December 1991 opened with 5 screens by Sam Gabbamonte’s* Le Cinémas Chateauguay. It became so popular as there was nothing between and downtown Montreal. The nearby drugstore had to hire additional security to control the parking.
1993 expanded to 6 screens
1997 Renamed to Cinema Carnaval as it is sold to Shiraz Tajdin, who owns the Carnival cinemas in Red Deer AB. He updates the sound systems and screens and adds a cybercafe.
2010 sold to new owners.
