Moonlite Drive-In

The Westwood Drive-In was opened by 1952 when it was operated by Peggy Rearick. By 1953 it was operated by Charles Treas. It had a capacity for 400-cars. Closed by 1980. There’s a factory on the property. All that’s left is the outline of the drive-in.

Closed before 1980, a topo from 1982 says its still there but the 1980 aerial tells a different story showing the factory that’s on the site today.

Looks like this drive-in was once called the Westwood. That’s the name that Aberdeen’s drive-in had in the 1955-56 Theatre Catalog and the 1961 Motion Picture Almanac, capacity 300 cars, owner Charles Treas.
