This theater opened in 1910 in the Avondale neighborhood for which it was named after, located on N. Milwaukee Avenue near N. Wisner Avenue. The theater was short-lived, since by 1917 advertisements in the Chicago Tribune show that a shoe store was operating at this address. The building has been home to a dental clinic for many years.
