The Corral Drive-In opened April 22, 1949 with John Payne in “Homestretch”.
In April 1956 the Bismarck Tribune reported that Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffart had purchased the Corral from Otto Fink. The Hoffarts were first time theatre operators and planned to erect an 80-foot CinemaScope screen.
The Corral Drive-In closed on July 20, 1968 with Frankie Avalon in “Beach Blanket Bingo” & Richard Johnson in “Deadlier Than the Male”. Today River City Sports occupies the site.
