Opened by AMC on July 10, 1987. They closed it in July 29, 2007 when they felt that it didn’t fit into their new profile of bigger screens and stadium seating. The building was demolished in summer of 2007 and was replaced by a H.H.Gregg store.

The AMC Volusia Square 8 opened on July 10th, 1987. Grand opening ad posted.
