The Sunset Drive-In was opened in 1950. By 1952 it was operated by Pat Patterson and Oregon Theatres Co-Operative. Purchased by Gregory Kershul in 1955, it appears to have closed possibly in 1975. A housing development with available lots is currently planned for the land.

Gregory Kershul later purchased the Times Theatre in Seaside, Oregon in 1959.
