Located on the sorth side of T M West Parkway at E. Hajek Road, just a short distance west of Interstate 35. The West Drive-In was opened on October 26, 1951 with Joel McCrea in “The Outriders”. It was operated by Mildred Gallia and she was still the operator in 1955. The West Drive-In was still open in 1957.
Alvins Body Shop now stands at the former entrance to the West Drive-In.

The drive-in did not last very long. By 1970, it was totally demolished.
Also opened with a cartoon(not named) and a short subject(not named).
The drive-in closed during the 1957 season. It was offered for salvage sale in March of 1958.
