The Valley Twin was opened on April 2, 1982. This theater has four screens despite its name. It has two larger screens and two smaller ones. All theaters can show Real-D 3D. Theaters 5 & 6 were never added.
The Cinema 6 Theatre closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has not reopened and the building was listed for sale for $2,360,000 as of July 2021 and is available ‘For Rent’ in August 2023. It reopened in late-August, 2024 as the Paradigm Cinemas - Yucca Valley.

I’ve only seen two movies here, both negatively reviewed family-friendly films: “Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore” (2010) and “Planes” (2013). After that last one, I officially made it my vow not to go to the movies to see any movies with ratings below 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.
