Located to the west of the city centre. The Forest Park Cinema was opened on Hogmanay 1928 with Wee Georgie Wood in “Two Little Drummer Boys”. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system.
The Forest Park Cinema was closed in June 1967. It became a carpet showroom, followed by use as clubrooms for an athletics association. It has since been demolished and housing had been built on the site by 2017.
