The Cinema Ambrosio was opened on 18th December 1913 with 1,600 seats. It was designed by architect A. Ballatore di Rosana It was re-modeled in 1954 and was equipped with 70mm projection and stereo sound.
In 1985 two screens were added with seating for 154 and 480. It was taken over by the Circuito Cinemas chain in 1992 and after alterations the seating capacities were 440, 195 & 149. Part of the building became the Ambrosia Cinema-Cafe and it was taken over by Medusa Cinemas. It was still open in 2010, but had closed by 2017.
