Located in Kildare, County Kildare. Opened on 1st December 1942 as the Tower Cinema with 700 seats in stalls and balcony. The opening film was “Keep ‘em Flying” starring Abbott and Costello; there were two performances at 6:30 and 9pm, both full houses. In 1950 it had an RCA sound system; by 1962 a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) system.It was called Studio One when it finally closed in August 1987. It is now [2017] a Silken Thomas pub.

The cinema was up for sale in the early-1970s. It was reopened in 1973 by Joe and Marie Flanagan but closed by 1987.
