Cosy Cinema

Located in Burnham Market, to the northeast of King’s Lynn, Norfolk. The former Public Hall was converted into the Electric Cinema in the 1910’s. The building had a corrugated iron roof. By 1934 it had been re-named Picture House.

By 1937 it had been re-named Cosy Cinema and was operated by the Bostock Cinema Circuit. It was equipped with an Imperial sound system which was later replaced by a British Acoustic(BA) system. The Cosy Cinema was still open in 1954, but had closed by 1958. It had been demolished by 1980.
