Rolling Green Park opened in 1908 theatre-less between Sunbury and Selinsgrove. A trolley line connecting the two towns ran to Hummels Wharf which was home to the amusement park. On May 9, 1910, Blanchard Amusement opened a 1,000-seat theatre - the Rolling Park Theatre - which combined vaudeville and motion pictures.
The Sunbury & Selinsgrove Railway - operators of the trolley line - took over operation of the theatre. In 1930, the Rolling Green Park Theatre added sound. It appears as if movies were discontinued in 1939 with the theatre continuing as a live venue at least through the 1946 season.
Rolling Green Park closed in 1971 and was demolished. The park is probably best placed at Monroe Township.
