Located in Dundalk, County Dundalk. The Casino and the Casino Mini were situated in the Old Dundalk Shopping Centre which had been built in 1974. They opened on 20th December 1975 with Paul Newman in “The Towering Inferno” and Marlon Brando in “The Godfather 2” and had closed by 1989. The empty space was used to host a play “Brief Encounter” in 1989 and also a clothes sale, with one source stating the space was a stockroom for Tesco stores. Demolition of the Centre started in 2013 in order to build a new Tesco extra store.
