Located in Dunmore, County Galway. The Green Cinema opened on 3rd August 1952 with the opening ceremony performed by the Rev. Father Burke. The cinema was owned by James Finnegan who was also the architect for the scheme. The 350-seater had a sloping floor and tip-up seats. It was active as a cinema until at least 1968 but the building has been demolished and replaced with housing.
