Located in Ballyconnell, County Cavan. The Star Cinema was active between 1950 and 1971 and was run by Paddy Clancy. It was situated in the Star Ballroom which opened in February 1949 and was able to hold 300 people. It seemed to be concentrating on plays and concerts during the 1970’s and was later a furniture store, but its current use is unclear.
