Located in Tallaght southwest Dublin, in The Square Town Centre Shopping Centre. Originally opened as the 12-screen UCI Tallaght in November 1990. It was closed on 8th March 2010 when the landlords Alburn decided not to renew the lease.
The IMC Tallaght 13-screen fully-digital multiplex was opened on 25th April 2012 by the Minister for Communications Par Rabbitte. It has 2,200 seats in stadium style, Dolby 7.1 sound and 3D capability. The complex includes a VIP lounge and is fully wheelchair accessible. It went into receivership in early-July 2020 and was not expected to re-open. High rent was given as a contributory factor. Other IMC cinemas are not affected.
It was reopened by the Movies @ chain by December 2021 and renamed Movies @ The Square Tallaght.

Following substantial refurbishment, this cinema was reopened by Christmas 2021 by the Movie@ cinema chain. It is now known as Movies@TheSquare.
