Located in Balla, County Mayo. It is hard to believe but the small village of Balla between Castlebar and Claremorris was home to two small cinemas partly consecutively, the Balla Cinema and the Central Cinema. The Balla Cinema was active between 1947 and 1958 and was the forerunner of the two. The building is now occupied by a funeral home.
