Located in Ballyduff, County Kerry at the top of the hill on Lacca Cross at the junction with Coast Road. The cinema was previously known as the Savoy Cinema and was screening films by August 1960, usually three times a week. The 300 seats were made up of 160 tip-ups with the rest on benches. It was up for sale in 1963 and had been renamed the New Era Cinema by 1966. Advertising was regular until 1968 although the cinema still seemingly screened films until at least 1974. Latterly it was owned by Michael Buckley and also presented plays and hosted concerts. Subsequent activities included pool tournaments and furniture sales. The building has been partly adapted into a house with a beauty salon alongside.

This photo is not of the cinema, which was located at the top of the village near the garage. The building is now some sort of beauty parlour according to Google street view.
