Located at the corner of Louisiana Street & Elgin Street in Midtown, Houston, TX. The French Quarter XXX Movies was opened on February 2, 1975. It was operating as a gay adult movie theatre by 1977, renamed French Quarter Theater. It was closed in December 1996. The site became a 24-hours fitness club.

Ads (which is posted here) for the French Quarter started to appear on April 6th, 1975

First ad: February 2nd, 1975. It closed or stopped its ads in December 1996. There were attempts to reopen it in 1998.
