Located in the north of the city centre, close to Republique. The Cine Presse opened in 1932 and was soon re-named Paris Soir when it was taken over by the Paris-Soir chain of cinemas. Later re-named Radio Cite Republique it became the Studio Republique and was still open in 1975, but had closed by 1985. It became a gymnasium and by 2008 was a funeral directors which still occupies the building in 2025.
