Located in Ballinrobe, County Mayo. The Robe Cinema was operational by 1934 and run by a Miss Cooney along with J. Walsh from 1940. It had 300 seats and was equipped with an RCA sound system. Listed in the Kine Year Book from 1936 but stated as closed by 1947 although advertising tails off in 1936. It was located in a former market house dating from 1752 which also housed a courtroom and Sunday school upstairs, and more recently a pub on the ground floor. The current situation with the building is unclear. The Ballinrobe Cinema Company held earlier film shows in the town but the location has not been established.
