This theater opened in 1976. A two screen theater, it closed in November of 2003. It was reopened under new management in November 2005, but had closed by 2012.

The Cinema 1 & 2 is now reopened under new ownership. The former owner was J.S. Cinemas Inc. who currently operates the Roxy Theater in Potsdam, NY, the American Theater, in Canton, NY and the 56 Auto Drive-in in Massena, NY.

The new owner is Connie Augsbury. The theater originally opened in 1976.

This is now closed, everyone went across the border to the new Galaxy cinemas in Brockville, ON.
